Scientists at the Harvard School of Medicine claim that a nap can cause health problems.

In particular, passengers sleeping during take-off and landing are likely to cause major damage to the hearing aid.

Do you know the feeling of a clogged ears that you have when your attitude changes? This is because the pressure outside the ear no longer corresponds to the inside pressure.

We get rid of this discomfort when we yawn or swallow because Eustachio’s tube opens.

But if you sleep during the flight, you can not balance the pressure of the eardrum. Scientists say that when Eustachio’s tube remains blocked for a long time, an infection can develop that can lead to hearing and pain problems.

Doctors recommend us to resist the temptation to fall asleep when the plane goes up or down.
